Where is luna lovegood from

In the books, Harry takes a more cautious approach and disguises himself as a red-haired Weasley relative by using Polyjuice Potion so that none of the guests would know it was him. Luna, however, is the only one who is able to recognize Harry even though his outward appearance looks nothing like him he doesn't even have his scar. Chalk it up to Luna's keen intuition, but it is a pretty adorable moment when she is able to so easily spot her friend.

Lee Jordan acts as the Quidditch commentator in the first couple of films and throughout much of his time at Hogwarts. Zacharias Smith also has a go at this gig as well as Luna who temporarily replaces him during one of the Quidditch matches.

However, Luna tends to comment on things other than the game, much to Professor McGonagall's chagrin. She talks about the clouds, continuously messes up the player's names and even surmises that the reason they can't hold onto the Quaffle is that the players suffer from "Loser's Lethargy. After Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, audiences meet Luna who is forthright in her opinion that Harry is telling the truth about Voldemort.

Harry's fifth year is rough with the Daily Prophet and even his schoolmates accusing him and Dumbledore of causing unnecessary panic since they don't believe that Voldemort has returned. Harry finds comfort in Luna, who is also the oddball out, which is possibly why he agrees to an interview by The Quibbler.

Luna sets up an interview with her father, who runs the conspiracy theory publication, at the same time that Rita Skeeters sets out to get Harry's story about You-Know-Who's alleged return. It's his interview in The Quibbler that causes a shift in the wizarding world and many people begin to believe Harry's story. This issue of The Quibbler actually sells out and is extremely profitable for Luna and her father. While Harry, Ron, and Hermione are off hunting Horcruxes during their seventh year, many other their fellow friends are left behind at Hogwarts.

This year, Snape has become headmaster, the Death Eaters are their professors, and Umbridge's former Inquisitorial Squad is in full retaliation. It's a delicate situation, but Luna, Ginny, and Neville still try to do their part to help Harry. One such occasion is when the three of them try to steal Godric Gryffindor's sword out of Snape's office.

Snape catches them in the act and punishes them by sending them into the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid. Luna also helps in the resurgence of Dumbledore's Army who eventually leads Harry to secretly enter the grounds for the final Battle of Hogwarts.

Death Eater's kidnap Luna after her father refuses to cease publishing articles pertaining the Harry and the Order of the Phoenix. If it was down to us, she'd definitely have kept her job. In the Half-Blood Prince, Harry senses that something may happen to Hogwarts when both himself and Albus Dumbledore leave the castle to go in search of one of Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley both stand guard that night, keeping an eye on the Hogwarts staff room in case Severus Snape does anything suspicious. Snape tricks the pair, however, despite having good intentions. He rushes out and informs the pair that Professor Flitwick has collapsed and they take the bait, immediately rushing to his aid.

This allows Snape to slip away and he later murders Albus Dumbledore, having struck an agreement with the Hogwarts headmaster over his death. Unless you've got a heart made from stone, you'll know that Dobby's death is one of the saddest moments in the whole Harry Potter series.

The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 certainly does a good job of showing the Boy Who Lived in a state of distress, burying the poor little house elf alone as he comes to terms with the death of yet another loved one. What it doesn't show is Luna's role. She performs the eulogy at Dobby's funeral and is the one who closed Dobby's eyes after his passing.

The movie decided to make it seem as if Harry did all the work but, in the source material, it's a bit more of a team effort. She does this because the Boy Who Lived is determined to locate Ravenclaw's missing diadem. In the book, though, Luna actually takes him to her house's common room.

There, Harry and Luna are forced to hide after Amycus Carrow bursts in to find his sister, Alecto, unconscious on the floor. Amycus spits in the face of Minerva McGonagall and this enrages Harry, who emerges from his hiding place to hit the Death Eater with the Cruciatus Curse.

While we don't condone violence, there's definitely no denying Amycus deserved what he got. After the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry is very much the man of the moment.

Just about everybody with magical blood in them wants to touch him, to talk to him, to congratulate him for the way he defeated Lord Voldemort and finally brought peace to the world.

As a result, he struggles to get some alone time with Ron and Hermione. Luna was later saved by the trio, and went on to survive the Battle of Hogwarts. Xenophilius left Azkaban soon after. Luna became a Magizoologist and married Rolf Scamander , with who she had two children, Lorcan and Lysander. Harry Potter Wiki Explore.
